Mission Statement fannypack travel, a woman-run resource focused on cross-cultural exchange, strives to empower and connect all kinds of women* around the world. Through local service projects, homestays, and community opportunities, women will find the courage and power to travel and change the world.
Our goals: To make the world a safer place through authentic cultural exchanges.- provide resources for women travelers.- give back to the communities we visit in a respectful, productive, and sustainable way.- Inspire women to confidently occupy space and explore their world.* Our use of the word woman is an all inclusive noun used to refer to anyone who identifies as female, woman, FTM, MTF, trans*, genderqueer, gender neutral, gender fluid, and/or non-binary. We strive to be as inclusive as possible and recognize that language plays a large role in safety, comfortability, and acceptance. As language evolves with society, we welcome input and suggestions to help us keep our site as inclusive as possible.
