It’s a garment district that is almost exploding with tiny stores selling low quality clothes and shoes. On Saturdays there are also many food vendors and street performers. Just make sure to find a safe way to get there and back, you might be able to pay a taxi driver to take you there then pick you up. Or you can take public transit but not recommended in the dark.

Mostly vintage with some handmade goods thrown in as well, Violetta runs her shop out of an old apartment that used to be her mother’s art, studio giving it a unique feel. It can be easy to miss since you have to enter the apartment complex through a large door that accesses many more doors to other apartments. There are small signs that say LoveBug Vintage but you have to be looking.

With 26 rooms, 7 bars, 4 dedicated dance floors, 7 stages, 2 outdoor gardens, and no cover charge (ever), Instant is Budapest’s largest Ruin Pub and the place to go any night of the week for live music. Dance underneath statues of rabbits and ghoulish animals hanging from the ceiling or sit at a table and chat with the locals and tourists in one of the gardens. The drinks are slightly more expensive than Szimpla but they make up for it by having live hip-hop, American rock, Hungarian DJs, and more in a single night. Only a few blocks from Szimpla, you can easily go to both in one night.
