You're right, finding information on how to work in Australia over the age of 30 is not easy. It seems like you need to have the support and sponsorship of an employer to obtain a work visa. The most information I could find was directly from the source: https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work or here are the skills that Australia is particularly hiring for: https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Skil-1 I didn't see too many forums that give helpful tips to those over 30, but when I did a google search, I filtered all the results to be within the last year, and there are quite a few job boards with specific jobs posted. I'm a Belgian wanting to migrate to Australia. I'm over 30 and have already done the working holiday (on which I lost my heart to Australia ?). Do you maybe know of any blogs that can help me with that? It's quite hard to find information about it... This is a cool post though!! ?

Thanks Minette! I certainly don’t want to make it look like all my traveling comes from tricky “deals” and “insider tips.” I go to work everyday like everybody else. Just with palm trees and a beach nearby!
